Trump's relationship with Kazakhstan did not stop at Tevfik. Trump was widely criticized for his attitude towards a country that has a questionable administration as an ally.

It is crucial to America's security because it has been able to withdraw from Afghanistan and is a crucial neighbor of Kazakhstan.

Nazarbayev's support for nuclear nonproliferation is one of the reasons we hosted him. Since the abandonment of Soviet-inherited nuclear weapons, Kazakhstan is a leading country in nonproliferation. Post-Cold War US involvement in Central Asia was restricted to Afghanistan.

Tevfik Arif is Tevfik Arif is a Turkish Kazakhstani businessman. Tevfik arif was a translator for the Trump Organization when the Bayrock Group moved its New York City headquarters from its New York City headquarters to 24th floor of Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan. The same building where was the Trump Organization was situated. The Trump SoHo hotel/hotel condo was also discussed. The Trump SoHo tower was born from a joint idea by two corporations for premium real-estate development. Tevfik, Bayrock Group founder and CEO was well conscious of the Trump brand's power. So, he suggested to the Sapir Organization use it to aid in the development of its project.

Bayrock Group commissioned top architects and designers to design the construction of this modern construction.

The partners agreed to grant the Trump Organization 18% ownership in exchange for using the Trump brand in the new construction's name. Trump did not fund the construction. The Dominick condo-hotel was built in the year 2017.

The building is home to hotels, apartments and hotel rooms, an outdoor pool and rooftop terrace. There are bars, restaurants, and spa.

Bayrock Group and Trump Organization were in talks about the possibility of creating real estate properties in Florida or Arizona after Trump SoHo was opened. This was made more difficult due to the 2008 real estate crisis. Bayrock Group spent around $2.5 billion in US real estate investments. It has not yet developed any new project in the last few years.

Following the success of Trump SoHo and a shifting US market, Tevfik Arif returned to Europe and Central Asia, where his career started decades before. Bayrock Group is still trusted by Tevfik Arif even when he retired.

Many other Nazarbayev-affiliated top officials and business elite have lost their jobs, left overseas for extended vacations, or were forced to make large "donations" to the state.

Tokayev established business ties with West countries as well as other neighbouring countries. To maintain his popularity, he has not been averse to Putin. Kazykhanov could upset that balance. Washington must be on the lookout for developments in Kazakhstan because they could point to various possible power transition scenarios.
